Transrapid points for the track in China, Shanghai

From Pudong airport to Lujiazui.

An 80 m long point is primarily used to change tracks in stations and can be traversed at 100 km/h. To change track at a higher speed (200 km/h), a 150 m long express point is installed. All points can be traversed in straight-on position at maximum speed.

Track during rapid state of building: Testing is to start on the 30 km long Transrapid section from Pudong airport to the City at the beginning of 2003.
